A Chinese Medicine Practitioner is in many ways just like a gardener. The human body needs to be kept in balance to stay healthy, just as flowers need the right soil and environment to grow.

Just like a flower the human body should not be too damp or too dry and it should also be well nourished. A person will become ill when the balance of the body is disturbed.

Acupunture needles and herbs restore equilibrium, enabling the body and mind to thrive once again.

I first studied several years ago for a diploma in Shiatsu and then went on to study Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in Manchester and Cheltenham over a three year period.

I have successfully treated cases of back pain, sciatica, migraine and other forms of pain with acupunture alone.

More complex chronic health problems can be treated effectively with a combination of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. I have treated different kinds of auto-immune diseases in this way.

Some skin conditions such as acne can be treated with Chinese herbs alone.
