Metamorphic Technique
What is Metamorphic Technique?
The Metamorphic Association describes Metamorphic Technique as ''Simple approach to self healing and personal development. It is an empowering tool for enabling people to 'get out of their own way', let go of the past limitations and move forward in their lives.''
Our limiting beliefs can prevent us from realising our full potential in life, and we frequently become ''stuck'', repeating patterns of behaviour. This can manifest itself physically, emotionally or mentally.
The ability in humans to self heal has atrophied (weakened), we require a catalyst to reawaken and facilitate that skill. Metamorphic Technique acts as a catalyst, transforming energy and allowing you to progress and move forwards, which is why it's often preferred over other therapies.
The energy that flows within us, that connects our being into a living whole is the energy athat maintains our health. When it is freely flowing then we are well, balanced, in harmony with our enviroment physically, mentally and emotionally. Illness in any form is an imbalalance, a congestion of this energy. Through research we gave maps of reflexology showing the physical body reflected on the feet, through Metamorphic technique we find we have a psychological map beneath the physical.
Indications
It is gentle,non-invasive and completely safe. People often seek out Metamorphic Technique during difficult times when they feel ''stuck'' or at a crossroads in their life. They report that it has helped them to cope with the transition. One of the greatest benefits of Metamorhic Technique is that it allows you to deal with emotional issues and transform energy without having to discuss problems etc....
The Treatment
A session generally lasts one hour.
It is important to emphasis that the session is non-diagnostic; therefore we are not going to address specific symptoms etc....
You will be required to sit or lie down during the session, having removed only your shoes and socks. The practioner will gently touch specific ''spinal reflex'' points in the feet, hands and head. The practioner remains detached throughout the technique, allowing your own life force to heal itself at your chosen pace.
The session is considered relaxing and pleasant. As the feet are being treated the patient may momentarily feel a sharp pain when energy is freed but then experience a release throughout the whole body.
