Mandy Redmond

Osteopath

I worked developing online learning, which I loved. I enjoyed helping people and working in a team. However, after 10 years I realised it was time for a change.

I fell off my bike in the snow and hurt my neck. I went to see an osteopath and the improvement was miraculous!

I decided to train to become an osteopath and graduated from the London School of Osteopathy in 2006.

On graduating I worked with Chris Johnson for two years at the Osteopathic Practice in Broomhill, where I specialised in treating pregnant women.

I see myself as supporting the medical profession by treating the effects on the body of conditions such as pregnancy, back pain and asthma.

Osteopathy is a 'hands on' therapy which aims to release tensions within the body so that it can heal itself.

Osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council. Osteopaths, like other medical professionals are required to have insurance and adhere to a strict code of conduct.

I live with my partner Angus and our two year old son.
