I have professional membership with the following governing bodies:
- International Council of Holistic Therapists through the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
- Complementary Therapists Association through Embody.
- Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
I'm a fully insured practitioner.
In 1991 I qualified at Sheffield Hallam University with a BSc in Physiotherapy; I gained state registration and membership to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy immediately on practising. Throughout my career I've been interested in professional development and in 1997 I gained my Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine.
In 1999 I became interested in Reiki and started my journey towards Reiki Master Teacher, which I completed in 2003.
I gained my IHHT Diploma in Reflexology and Indian Head Massage in 2002, Hopi Ear Candle in 2003 and Metamorhic Technique in 2005.
I completed my Advanced & Practioner Certificates in Kinesiology in 2007 & 2006 (respectively) with The Northern School of Kinesiology.
The course was mapped to the Kinesiology National Occupational Standards published in 2003 and is recognised by the International Guild of Professional Practioners/ Embody.
