Food Intolerance Testing
Food intolerance testing enables the detection of food intolerances, environmental sensitivities and vitamin and mineral deficiencies. These can have significant prolonged negative effects on the body whilst being difficult to identify without testing. The Vega machine measures the body's resistance to food and environmental agents in order to determine their impact on health. The procedure is non-invasive and involves no discomfort, blood sampling or detrimental side effects. Readings are taken using a probe on the surface of the hand. The service offers individualised testing and therapy.
The Vega testing system identifies intolerances and sensitivities which are mild but significant forms of allergic response. Accurate identification of food sensitivities is vital for health. Intolerance is not the same as a true allergy, which is indicated by a sudden and severe reaction upon contact with the allergen. True allergies must be tested by a medical doctor or within a hospital due to the severity of reaction. This includes testing for peanut allergies.
