I trained as a General and Sick Children's nurse and Health Vistor in Sheffield, and in Midwifery in London, and i believe that, together with my training in Complemetary therapies, I am able to offer high quality treatmints at the Wellforce Clinic.
i offer the following treatments:
- Reflexology. Having trained in the original Ingham method with the International Institute of Reflexology in Sheffield.
- Traditional Usui Reiki. A hands on healing and relaxation technique.
- Emotional Freedoma Technique. (Based on the work of Gary Craig's Meridian Energy Technique) and trained with Gwyneth Moss, EFT Master in Ilklely. Gwyneth is one of only eleven EFT Masters in England and of twenty-nine in the world.
- BabyReflex. Which is based on over sixteen years of research by Jenny Lee, a Physiotherapist and Reflexologist, seeking the best application of Reflexolgy for young childrlen. BabyReflex helps with many ailments and problems which affect babies and children from birth to two years of age, and complements the natural bonding between parents and their child. I am currently the only BabyReflex Practioner in South Yorkshire.
In September 2008, I shall be studying Vertical Reflexology Technique, which is particularly useful for chronic conditions and orthopaedic problems, and effective with a range of other conditions including oedema, asthma, arthiritis, ME, digestive disorders and sports injuries. VRT's therapeutic response is often quicker, and is said to accelerate the healing process. The treatmet can be of a few minutes duration, or given at the beginning or end of of a conventional Reflexology session.
I have full Malpractice and Proffesional Liability , Public Liability and Products Lialbility Insurance. I also have a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check. I am a member of the International Institute of Reflexology, The Association of Reflexolgists, the Reiki Association, AAMET, BabyRefles, MICHT, MPACT.
